BLACK, HARRY L.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Black. Entered service May 1st, 1918. 141st Company, Marine Corps, Paris Island, S. C. He was later assigned to Portsmouth, Virginia, and discharged Aug. 20, 1919, with the rank of first-class private.
