BERGGREN, JOHN ALBERT-Son of Chas. W. Berggren. Entered service in 1918 and assigned to Company I, 318th Infantry, Camp Lee, Virginia. Sailed May 22, 1918, and took part in the battles of Meuse Argonne, St. Mihiel. et al. Returned from overseas May 27, 1919, and discharged with the rank of first-class private on June 3, 1919.
