BIRD, WILLIAM J.-Born Feb. 16, 1899. Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Bird. 121 Good St., Jeannette, Pa. Entered the service Oct. 29, 1917, and was assigned to Camp Meade. Sailed for overseas March 30, 1918. Was attached to Company E, 23rd Engineers. Saw service in the Meuse-Argonne. Returned to the United States June 15, 1919, and was honorably discharged on June 21, 1919.
