SIPES, WILLIAM-Son of Mrs. Jessie Sipes. Entered service April 26, 1917. Was assigned to Washington, D. C., and attached to Coast Artillery. Went overseas Jan. 28, 1918. Was wounded and gassed. Returned Aug. 1918, and honorably discharged Nov. 23, 1918.
