ELWOOD BEARD, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

BEARD, ELWOOD-Son of Mrs. Elizabeth Beard. Entered service service Nov. 20, 1917. Was assigned to Camp Custer and attached to Company A, 119th Machine Gun Battalion, 32nd Division. Went overseas March 1918, was wounded six times. Returned May 1919, and honorably discharged June 1919.
