BATES, JOHN-Son of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatius Bates. Entered service Dec. 15, 1917. Was assigned to Columbus Barracks and attached to the 312th Aero Squadron. He was honorably discharged June 2, 1919, with rank of Sergeant.
