SCHAFFER, NORMAN C.-Son of Israel and Elmira Shaffer. Entered service May 24, 1918. Was sent to Camp Greenleaf and placed with the Medical Corps. He was transferred to Camp Shelby and Stewart. Sailed overseas Sept. 20, 1918, returned and was honorably discharged.
