RALPH BYARS, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

BYARS, RALPH-Born Sept. 11, 1894. Son of Mrs. Elizabeth Byars. Enlisted Aug. 15, 1917. Was sent to Fort Riley and attached to the Medical Corps. He sailed for France Jan. 15, 1918. Was made Sergeant, returned to the United States Aug. 19, 1919, and was honorably discharged from service on Aug. 27, 1919.
