CHARLES SCHACHTE, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

SCHACHTE, CHARLES-Son of Joseph Schachte, enlisted May 24, 1917, was assigned to Camp Hancock, and attached to Company E, 110th Infantry, 28th Division. Schachte sailed May 3, 1918, was in five German offenses, was slightly gassed, returned May 12, 1919 and was honorably discharged May 23, 1919.
