FRANK W CARBAUGH, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

CARBAUGH, FRANK W.-Son of Mrs. Annie Imel, entered service in Jan. 1915 and was assigned to the Mexican border. Trained with Company E, 110th Infantry at Camp Hancock and sailed overseas May 2, 1918. Rated as a Sergeant. Gassed Aug. 21, 1918, was wounded by bullet through left lung in the Argonne forest Sept. 26, 1918. Returned Feb. 11, 1919 and was honorably discharged Feb. 16, 1919.
