CHERNITSKY, JOHN MATTHEW-Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Chernitsky. He entered service Sept. 5, 1918, was assigned to Camp Greenleaf and was attached to the Medical Corps of the 55th Base Hospital Unit. Chernitsky went overseas Oct. 5, 1918. He died of pneumonia on the way over, Oct. 18th, and was buried Oct. 28, in Liverpool, England.
