SHUMAKER, ROBERT C.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Shumaker, enlisted in July 1917, with Company I, 110th Infantry, 28th Division, and went to Camp Hancock with that outfit. He sailed in the Spring of 1918, was slightly wounded, returned in the Spring of 1919, was honorably discharged in May 1919, with the rank of Corporal.
