ROGER BOWEN

BOWEN, ROGER-Son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bowen. He enlisted Aug. 1917, was assigned to Ft. Oglethorpe and attached to 371st Regiment. He ranked as 1st Lieutenant. Went overseas, was in battles of Verdun and Toul, was poisoned by gassed food in trenches, returned June 5, 1919 and was honorably discharged June 12, 1919.
