EUGENE WENCE, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

WENCE, EUGENE-Son of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Wence, Irwin, Pa. Entered service July 22, 1918. Went to Camp Lee and was attached to Company C, 115th Machine Gun Battalion. He sailed overseas Sept. 6, 1918, lost the sight of one eye from the effects of influenza. Returned to the United States April 2, 1919, and was honorably discharged from service on the 15th of that month.
