FRANK J MORTON, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

MORTON, FRANK J.-Son of John Morton, of Larimer. He entered service Jan. 1918, with Company D, 409th Signal Corps, and was assigned to Camps Leavenworth, Mills and Dix. Corporal Morton went overseas June 1918, and was in the battles of Meuse, Argonne and Chateau Thierry. Was wounded in the head by shrapnel. He returned from overseas June 1919 and was honorably discharged the same month.
