GUSTAFSON, FRED A.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Gustafson, Irwin. Pa. Entered service in Oct. 1917. Was sent to Camp Lee and attached to Headquarters' Company, 7th Infantry. He sailed for France in April 1918. Was wounded in the Battle of the Argonne, returned to the United States Aug. 23, 1919, and was honorably discharged from service on the 27th of that month.
