CARSON, HOWARD-Son of Mrs. A. Carson, Larimer, Pa. Entered the service March 23, 1917. Assigned to Fort Brown, transferred to Camp Colt, Camp Greene and Camp Mills. Sailed for France May 3, 1918. Attached Headquarters Company, 59th Infantry 4th Div. Cited for skillful use of trench mortar in Muese-Argonne on Sept. 30, 1918. Returned to the United States Aug. 1, 1919, and was still in service at time of this publication.
