CARR, JAMES E.-Son of Mr. and and Mrs. August Carlson, Irwin, Pa. Entered service Aug. 1, 1918, went to Camp Johnson and was attached to Motor Truck Company. No. 547. He sailed overseas Sept. 30, 1918. Returned to the United States July 18, 1919, and was honorably discharged from service July 24, 1919.
