CARROLL, JOHN C.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Carroll. Entered service Sept. 22, 1917.. Went to Camp Lee and was attached to the 19th Railroad Engineers. He was transferred to Camp Gordon, Merritt, and Mills, sailed overseas in April 1918. Returned to the United States in March 1919, and was honorably discharged from service April 10, 1919.
