SNYDER, JOHN HOWARD-Son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Snyder, Irwin, Pa. Entered the service Feb. 12, 1918, and was assigned to Camp Lee. Sailed overseas the latter part of May 1918, and was attached to Company L, 320th Infantry, 80th Division. Killed while on duty at listening post Aug. 13, 1918, by a German raiding party near Blairville, France. Was buried that evening in cemetery at the village of Blairville.
