SHUPE, JOHN M -Son of William C. Shaupe, Irwin, Pa. Entered service Dec. 1, 1917. Sent to Columbus Barracks, then Wrights Field, and was attached to the 166th Aero Squadron. He sailed for France March 5, 1918. Served as a Chauffer in England, France and Germany. Returned to the United States June 16, 1918, and was honorably discharged from service the last of that month.
