BROWN, JOSEPH L.-Was born April 26, 1895. He is the son of William R. Brown, of Irwin. Pa. He entered service April 29, 1918, with the Headquarters Company of the 319th Regiment, and went overseas May 17, 1918. He was in the battles of Argonne and Meuse. He returned from overseas on May 21, 1919, and was honorably discharged June 13, 1919, at Camp Sherman.
