NICHOLAS J KLASSEN, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

KLASSEN, NICHOLAS J.-Son of Mathew Klassen, of Larimer. He entered service May 6, 1918, with the 51st Machine Gun Dept., and was assigned to Camps Forrest and Dix. He was First-class Private. He went overseas July 4, 1918, and was in the battles of Meuse, Argonne and Chateau Thierry. He returned from overseas in June 1919, and was honorably discharged the same month.
