VENE HESS, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

HESS, VENE-Irwin, Pa. Enlisted in May 1917, with Company D, 111th Infantry and was assigned to Camp Hancock. He sailed overseas in April 1918. Was wounded in the right leg. Returned to the United States in May 1919, and was honorably discharged from service in June 1919.
