PLANK, WALTER J.-Born Feb. 26, 1895. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Plank, Irwin, Pa. Entered service July 13, 1918. Was sent to Camp Coppee and attached to Company D, 420th Telephone Battalion, 41st Div. He was transferred to Camp Vail, then Merritt, sailed overseas Oct. 20, 1918. Returned to the United States March 24, 1919, and was honorably discharged from service April 8, 1919.
