CONEYBEER, WILLIAM E.-Son of Mrs. Elizabeth Coneybeer, Shafton, Pa. Enlisted at Welland, Ont. Enlisted June 6, 1915, in the Canadian Army and was attached to No. 9 Platoon, 76th Battalion. He sailed from Halifax in March 1915. Was wounded in October 1916. Returned to Canada in March 1918, and was honorably discharged in May 1918. He re-enlisted and was an instructor in a Canadian Government School.
