PARFITT, WILLIAM E.-Shafton Road, Irwin, Pa. Entered service Sept. 22, 1917. Went to Camp Lee and was attached to the 307th Trench Motor Battery, 82nd Div. He was transferred to Camp Gordon, then Mills. Sailed overseas in May 1918. Was slightly gassed, returned to the United States in June 1919 and was honorably discharged from service later that month.
