HARPER, WILLIAM HENRY. JR.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Harper, Irwin, Pa. Enlisted May 3, 1917, with Battery A, 112th Field Artillery, 2nd Division. He was stationed at Fort Williams, Fort Myers, Merritt and others. Sailed overseas Jan. 11, 1918. Returned to the United States Aug. 6, 1919, and was honorably discharged from service one week later with the rank of Corporal.
