WILLIAM J PORTER, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

PORTER, WILLIAM J.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Porter, Irwin, Pa. Entered service Sept. 5, 1918. Was assigned to Camp Greenleaf and placed with the Medical Corps. He was transferred to Camp Upton. Sailed for France the latter part of Sept. 1918. Returned to the United States July 17, 1919, and was honorably discharged from service a week later.
