LAYTON, HAROLD-Son of Mrs. J. E. Philabaum, entered service May 1918. was assigned to Paris Island and attached to the 51st Company, 5th Infantry, 2nd Division. Went overseas Aug. 13, 1918, was gassed returned Aug. 3, 1919 and was honorably discharged Aug. 12, 1918.
