DEEDS, JOHN M.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Deeds, Ligonier, Pa. Enlisted May 28, 1917, with Company M, 110th Infantry, 28th Div., and was sent to Camp Hancock. He sailed for France May 2, 1918. Was in most of the important battles, returned to the United States in Aug. 1919, and was honorably discharged from service Sept. 3, 1919, with the rank of First Sergeant.
