PIPER, ROBERT W.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Pipor, Ligonier, Pa. Enlisted April 22nd, 1918, in the Marine Corps, was sent to Paris Island and placed with Company E, 13th Regiment, 5th Brigade. He was transferred to Quantico, sailed overseas Sept. 13, 1918. Returned to the United States Aug. 8, 1919, and was honorably discharged from service on the 13th of that month.
