AUSTIN, SAMUEL J., JR.-Son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Austin, Ligonier, Pa. Enlisted in 1916 with Company M, 110th Infantry, 28th Division. He was sent to Camp Hancock. Sailed overseas May 3, 1918, was wounded in the battle of the Marne, returned to the United States in May 1919, and was honorably discharged from service in June 1919.
