CARNES, ALEXANDER-Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carnes, entered service April 5, 1918, was assigned to Camp Lee and attached to Company D, 315th Machine Gun Btln., 80th Division. Went overseas May 18, 1918, was wounded, returned Feb. 17, 1919 and was honorably discharged June 28, 1918 with the rank of Sergeant.
