SHRUMM, CHESTER R.-Entered service Sept. 23, 1917, was sent to Camp Lee and there attached to Company D, 328th Infantry, 80th Division. Sailed May 19, 1918, was taken prisoner by the Germans, was held from Oct. 9, 1918 until Dec. 19, 1918, returned May 20, 1919 and was honorably discharged May 29, 1919.
