MAWHINNEY, GEORGE W.-Son of Joseph and Esther enlisted June 2, 1915, with Company E, 110th Infantry, 28th Division and was sent to Camp Hancock. Sailed May 2, 1917, was wounded July 29, 1918 in the battle of the Marne, was in the hospital for four months, returned, Jan. 1919 and was honorably discharged later that month.
