JOHN C SWARTZ, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania WWI Veteran

SWARTZ, JOHN C.-Son of Samuel and Barbara Swartz, enlisted in July 1917 with the 463rd Aero Squadron, and was assigned to San Antonio, Texas. Sailed in Sept. 1917, received a medal for participation in the St. Mihiel offensive, returned July 8, 1919 and was honorably discharged on the 16th of that month.
