[The following obituary notices of officers and privates who
served in the Continental Line and Militia of Pennsylvania during
the Revolution have been collected from the newspapers of Montgomery
county.]

Samuel Biddle.-Died on Monday 18th. inst. at his residence in Upper
Merion township, Samuel Biddle, eighty-second year of his age. He
was among those patriots who struggled for American Independence.
