SHERMAN REESE EXPIRED MONDAY

One of Cambria Township's oldest and best-known farmers, died Monday, June 6, when Sherman Reese, 82, passed away at his home northeast of town,near Winterset. The deceased was born Feb. 5, 1873, in Cambria Township, a son of Obadiah and Margaret (Evans) Reese. He spent his entire life on the home farm. Surviving is a brother, George E. Reese of Reno, Nev. and a sister, Miss Elizabeth Reese of Ebensburg R.D.1. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday at Askew's Funeral Home. Rev. F. Edmund Jenkins, pastor of First Congregational Church was in charge. Interment was in Lloyd Cemetery.
