Theodore J Reese

Transcribed from the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat, July 31, 1974

REESE - Theodore J., 91, Ferrelton, Stoystown R. D. 1, died July 30, 1974, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born July 13, 1883, in Farnum, W. Va., son of Samuel and Irene (Wilson) Reese. Preceded in death by parents, five sisters, two brothers , and son, Theodore N. Survived by widow, former Mary Neff, and son, Eugene, Shanksville; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Boswell. Manager for many years of Dull Mercantile Store of Consolidation Coal Co., Jenners, and managed Boswell A. & P. store for 14 years. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. George A. Clark. Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.

Theodore J. Reese Dies

STOYSTOWN - Theodore J. Reese of Ferrelton, Stoystown R.D. 1, died Tuesday at the Somerset Community Hospital at the age of 9l.

Mr Reese had managed the Dull Mercantile Store of the Consolidation Coal Co. in Jenners for many years and the Boswell A & P Store for 14 years. He also was a retired attendant at the Somerset State Hospital. His death ended a marriage union of more than 62 years with the former Mary Neff.
