Thomas D. Reese

Thomas D. Reese whose death on Christmas Day at his home in Ebensburg has been briefly noted in this paper, was aged seventy-five years, less one day. He was born on a farm just southeast of Ebensburg, and resided in Cambria Township until a few years ago, when he retired and moved to Ebensburg.

Mr. Reese had been a consistent member of the congregational Church since he was a young man, and he was esteemed by all who knew him. His wife died many years ago. He is survived by four sisters – Catherine Eykes, of Fairview, Butler County; Martha Jones of Johnstown; Jane Ann Tudor of Cambria Township; Mrs. Thomas J. Davis of Ebensburg. The following children also survive: David, Richard, George, Mrs. Annie Kerr, John, Mrs. Mattie Kerr, and Mrs. Sarah Davis.

The funeral took place on the Tuesday following his death, interment being made in Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
