(HERKNESS, SIDNEY continued)
53rd Infantry, 6th Division. Duty at Camp Spartansburg, South
Carolina, and Camp Mills, New York, October, 1917, to July, 1918.
With A. E. F., July, 1918, to September, 1919. Service at St.
Menehould, Clermont, Apremont, Grand Pre, Le Mort Homme,
Verdun, the Gerardmer Sector, in the Vosges Mountains and other
parts of France. Took part in Meuse-Argonne Offensive. In
Germany from February to August, 1919, with American Military
Mission, Berlin, and at Neuhammer, Silesia; 1919 with Army of
Occupation. Honorably discharged, September 27,1919.

HERKNESS, WAYNE,
Captain, U. S. N. A. Entered service February 13, 1917. With A. E.
F., Gas Service, September to December, 1918; duty at General
Headquarters Chaumont, France. Honorably discharged, January 4,
1919.

HOOPES, EDWARD,
Captain, U. S. A. Transferred from National Guard to Federal
service, August 5, 1917. Aide-de-Camp to General Hay,
commanding the 28th Division, Pennsylvania. A. E. F. from March
26, 1918, to April 19, 1919; duty at Contres and in the Toul Sector
at Colombey-les-Belles, France. Took part in the Aisne-Marne and
Meuse-Argonne offensives. With Army of Occupation, headquarters
at Cochem, Germany, March-April. 1919. Honorably discharged,
June 2, 1919.

HORNE, SMITH HAMILL, M. D.,
Captain, Medical Corps, U. S. A.; Flight Surgeon, Aviation Corps.
Entered August 18, 1918, served at Hazlehurst Field, New York, and
Carlstrom Field, Florida. Honorably discharged, March 20, 1919.

HUBBELL, STEWART BROOKS,
2nd Lieutenant, Ordnance Reserve Corps, U. S. N. A., February,
1918, to January, 1919. Served in the office of the Chief of
Ordnance, Washington, D. C.; also at Camp Hancock, Georgia, and
the Raritan Arsenal, Metuchen, New Jersey. Honorably discharged,
January 20, 1919.

HUIDEKOPER, THOMAS WALLIS,
Captain, U. S. A.; Air Service, Aero Construction Squadron,
December 5, 1917 to January, 1919. Served at Carlisle, Raymond
and Vancouver Barracks, Washington State. Honorably discharged,
January 24, 1919.

JARRETT, BROOKE LESSIG,
Entered January 1, 1918, as private, 154th Depot Brigade, Camp
Meade, Maryland. Commissioned, August 2, 1918, 2nd Lieutenant,
Field Artillery, U. S. A., Camp Zachary Taylor, Kentucky. Also
served at School of Fire, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, November-December,
1918. Honorably discharged, December 18, 1918.

KENDRICK, MURDOCH,
Private, Adjutant General’s Department, U. S. A., November 10,
1918 to December 10, 1918.

KENT, HENRY THOMAS,
Captain, U. S. A., 52nd Infantry, 6th Division, Company A. Entered
service May 8, 1917. Received training at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. A.
E. F. from July, 1918, to July, 1919. Service in Gerardmer Sector,
Vosges Mountains and Verdun Sector. Took part in Meuse-Argonne
Offensive, October-November, 1918. With Army of Occupation, 1919.
Still in service, November, 1919.
