TURNER, DANIEL NORMAN,
Entered May 7, 1917, R. O. T. C., Fort Niagara, N. Y., and Camp
Meade, Maryland; commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, June 11, 1917,
and attached to Company B, 304th Engineers, U. S. N. A. Served at
various camps in the United States and with the A. E. F. Went into
action September 26, 1918, at Verdun, also at St. Mihiel and the
Argonne; engaged with the infantry in taking Montfaucon; was
continuously under fire from Sep­tember' 1st until November 11th,
1918; slightly gassed several times. Honorably discharged, June 26,
1919.

URQUHART, RADCLIFFE MORRIS,
2nd Lieutenant, U. S. N. A., Field Artillery, May 14, 1917. Served at
Camps Meade and Hancock. On Staff of 29th Division, May-
September, 1917. A. E. F. in France with 103rd Ammunition Train,
28th Division, and later with 59th Field Artillery Brigade as
Munitions Officer. Honor­ably discharged, January 23, 1919.

VAUX, RICHARD,
Captain, Cavalry, U. S. A. R. F., March, 1917; Captain, Air Service,
December, 1917. With A. E. F., Air Service, Paris, France. Com­
manding Officer 5th Air Depot, Zone of Advance in France.
Resigned, February 24, 1919.

Lieutenant Colonel, Medical Corps, U. S. A., May, 1917;
Temporary Colonel in War, October, 191S. In regular Service.

discharge. Duty at Philadelphia District Ordnance Office.

WILLIAMS, FRANCIS CHURCHILL,
Entered service June 26, 1918, as Captain, General Staff, Military
Intelligence Division, U. S. N. A.; later transferred to U. S. A. and
promoted Major. (No date.) Duty in War Department, Washington,
D. C. Transferred to inactive service O. R. C., July, 1919.

WOOD, CLEMENT BIDDLE,
Entered 1st Officers Training Camp, Fort Niagara, New York, May
8, 1917. Commissioned Captain and assigned to 311th Field
Artillery, August 15, 1917; duty at Camp Meade, Maryland. In
France with A. E. F., August, 1918, to April, 1919. Promoted Major,
Field Artillery, October 26, 1918; duty at Montmorillion, La
Courtine, Jovancourt,. Andelot and Chantraines. On detached
service with Interallied Armistice Commission at Wilhelmshoehe,
Germany, April-July, 1919. Honorably discharged, August 12, 1919.
