commissioned Captain, Infantry, U. S. N. A., August 15, 1917;
Major, Field Artillery, U. S. A., September 22, 1918; service at
various camps in the United States from May, 1917 to December,
1918. Honorably dis­charged, December 11, 1918.

NASSAU, CHARLES FRANCIS, M. D.,
Major, Medical Corps, U. S. N. A., May 29, 1917; ordered on active
duty, December 14, 1917; Chief Surgeon, Base Hospital Number
38, at 2nd Regiment Armory, Philadelphia. Arrived in France with
A. E. F., July 13, 1918. Stationed at Nantes, Emergency Hospital
Number 1, near Toul, Evieux, Souilly and Esnes, France. Honorably
discharged, March 3, 1919.

NICHOLLS, JOSEPH KLAPP,
Entered service March 25, 1918, as Captain, Adjutant General’s De­
partment, U. S. N. A.; promoted Major, August 23, 1918. Duty at
Camp Dix, New Jersey, and Camp Meigs, Washington, D. C. Camp
Personal Adjutant, Camp Upton, New York, May, 1918, to date
March, 1918. No discharge furnished.

PARRY, OLIVER RANDOLPH,
Entered service July 16, 1918, as Captain of Engineers, U. S. R. F.
U. S. A. Assigned to E. O. T. C., at Camp Lee, Virginia, July 26,
1918, and to E. O. T. S., at Camp Humphreys, Virginia, August 11,
1918. Served with Quartermaster’s Corps, Construction Division,
October 8th to December 1, 1918, with duty at Tullytown,
Pennsylvania. Commissioned, Captain, Quartermaster Section,
Construction Division, U. S. R. F., February 8, 1919.

PATTERSON, HOWARD ASHMAN,
Corporal and Sergeant, U. S. A., Engineers. Entered May 14, 1917.
A. E. F. in France from August, 1917, to January, 1919. Duty at
Toul and in the Argonne Sectors. Attached part of the time to the
Artillery in France, doing camouflage duty. Honorably discharged,
February 10, 1919.

PEIRCE, CALEB CLARENCE,
Entered Officers Training Camp, Fort Niagara, New York, May 11,
1917; commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, A. G. D., U. S. N. A., August 15,
1917; 1st Lieutenant, F. A., U. S. N. A., October 3, 1918. Served also at
Camp Meade, Maryland, and the Army War College, Washington, D. C.
Honorably discharged, February 15, 1919.
