Colonel, Medical Section, U. S. Officers Reserve Corps. Entered
active service June 15, 1917, as Major, and was for a time Adjutant
at Camp Greenleaf, Chicamauga Park, Georgia; and afterward
Commanding Officer, U. S. Army Base Hospital, Number 74.
Promoted Lieutenant Colonel November 6, 1918. Honorably
discharged, December 22, 1918.
PEROT, ROBESON LEA,
Entered Ordnance Department, U. S. A., August 26, 1918; duty at
South Amboy and Amatol, New Jersey, September-December, 1918.
Resigned from this appointment, December 14, 1918.
Commissioned Captain, in Ordnance Section, O. R. C., December
28, 1918, and assigned to Philadelphia District. Resigned from
Ordnance Service, December 14, 1919.
POTTER, CHARLES ADAMS, jr.,
1st Lieutenant, U. S. N. A., Field Artillery, May 14, 1917. Served at
Officers Training Camp, Fort Niagara, New York, May-August,
1917; and at Camp Meade, Maryland, August, 1917-July, 1918. A.
E. F. July 14, 1918, to June 2, 1919. Service in England and France
with 312th Field Aitillery, 79th Division. Honorably discharged,
June 30, 1919.
PRICE, HOWARD CAMPBELL,
Colonel, U. S. A., 360th Infantry, 90th Division. Promoted to
present grade August 6, 1918. Cited for bravery in action in the San
Mihiel Salient, September 12th and 13th, 1918. On November 1st
and 2nd, 1917, near Bantheville, contributed actively by ability and
energy to the advance and capture of the Freya Stellung at
Andevanne and Villers-devant-Dun. For leadership and unusual
ability in these actions he was twice recommended for promotion
and once for the D. S. O. Cited in General Orders No. 13 for
bravery in action during the St. Mihiel operations, September 25th
and 26th, 1918. In regular army.
PRICE, WILLIAM G., jr.,
Brigadier General, U. S. National Guard, A. E. F., commanding
53rd Field Artillery Brigade, 28th Division, August 5, 1917, to May
15, 1919. Engagements: Meuse-Argonne Forest in France; Scheldt
in Belgium, 1918. Decorations: Croix de Guerre of France with
palms, Croix de Guerre of Belgium; awarded Distinguished Service
Medal by the President of the United States. Cited for gallant
conduct at the front as follows:— “Brigadier General William G.
Price, jr., United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious and
distinguished services; he commanded the Fifty-third Field Artillery
Brigade with marked distinction, proving himself a tactical leader of
extraordinary ability through the formidable assistance which his
brigade furnished to the attacking infantry, during the engagement
of the Ninety-first Division, from the Lys to the Scheldt, the rapid
advance to the infantry was insured; and the success made more
brilliant.”
Honorably discharged, May 15, 1919.

Captain and Major, Ordnance Department, U. S. N. A., October 29,
1917, to December 21, 1918. Served in the Ordnance Department,
Washington, D. C. Honorably discharged, December 21, 1918.
QUAY, ANDREW GREGG CURTIN,
Major, Q. M. R. C., U. S. A. Detailed to organize and command
Motor Truck Supply, Train No. 402, August 1, 1917. Honorably
discharged, November 15, 1918.
