QUINTARD, ROMEYN BERRY,
Entered O. T. C., Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, August 23, 1917;
commissioned 1st Lieutenant, F. A., November 27, 1917, and
assigned to 336th Field Artillery, 87th Division, U. S. N. A., with
station at Camp Pike, Arkansas, December, 1917-June, 1918.
Served in A. E. F., France, August 23, 1918, to February 22, 1919.
Honorably discharged, March, 1919.

RAY, CHESTER PAUL, jr.,
2nd Lieutenant, U. S. A., Air Service Aeronautics. Entered service,
August 27, 1918. Served at Langley and Bolling Fields, Virginia.
Honorably discharged, December 18, 1918.

RAY, LEE MILLER,
Entered service, February 24, 1918, as Regimental Sergeant Major,
U. S. A., Infantry, with duty at Camp Greene, North Carolina.
Received Croix de Guerre of France, and U. S. Distinguished
Service Cross. Served with army of occupation, Germany.
Honorably discharged, March 30, 1919.

RITER, MICHAEL MILLER,
Entered National Army, May 30, 1917, as 2nd Lieutenant, Supply
Company, 313th Infantry, 79th Division. Promoted 1st Lieutenant,
August 14, 1917. Served at Camps Meade and Niagara. With A. E.
F., France, from July 12, 1918, to May, 1919. Assigned first to
Champlette, and then to Longville, as reserve to St. Mihiel
Offensive. Took part in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, September
26th to November 11th, 1918. Honorably discharged, June 10,
1919.

ROBERTS, SIDNEY LEWIS,
Entered service, May 8, 1917, as 1st Lieutenant, Infantry, O. R. C.,
with duty at camp for officers at Madison Barracks, New York.
Assigned to National Army at Camp Dix, New Jersey, August 28,
1917. Early in 1918 sailed for General Headquarters in France;
appointed Replacement Officer, First Army, at Saint Aignan-sur-
Cher, May 15, 1918; at this time did duty as French Interpreter;
transferred to Department of Yonne as Assistant Zone Major, June,
1918, and to 4th Zone in the Vosges District, August 9, 1918.
Served in France 17 months with A. E. F. Honorably discharged,
August 4, 1919.

ROSENFIELD, WILLIAM MAXWELL,
Corporal, Ordnance, U. S. N. A., August 21, 1918. Served at various
camps in the United States, part of the time in the Field Artillery.
Honorably discharged, November 27, 1918.

RUNK, LOUIS BARCROFT,
Major, U. S. Ordnance Reserve Force, September 1, 1917, to date of
discharge. Inspector of Ordnance, Bridgeport, Connecticut, September
1st to December 3rd, 1917. Duty with Ordnance Inspection Division,
Washington, D. C., December 3, 1917, to August 7, 1918; later trans­
ferred to Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York. Honorably dis­
charged, September 10, 1919.

SCHWARTZ, WALTER MARSHALL,
Entered service June, 1917, as Major, Ordnance Department, U. S.
N. A., Inspection Division. Promoted Lieutenant Colonel, October
4, 1918. Duty at Watertown, New York, Washington, D. C.,and
Philadelphia. Honorably discharged, January 7, 1919.
